SERIES Overview:

— ABOUT THE CLIENT
Lebelik is the online home of Lebanese fashion design. This e-commerce platform focuses on promoting local talent by giving them the opportunity to gain access to a broader international audience while taking care of every step of the delivery process.

— CHALLENGE
The e-commerce site is always looking for new ways to connect creators and potential buyers. My mission here was simple: find an engaging way to humanize Lebelik's designers, while allowing them to test out new products and increasing website conversions.

— CONTENT SOLUTION
By working closely with the Lebelik team I came up with the concept for Meet the Designer. As a whole, the format is simple,  each episode follows one Lebanese designer and delves into their story and creative process.  The catch is that each chapter reveals a limited edition item that is sold exclusively on Lebelik.com. Viewers then have a restricted time to pre-order this piece on an especially designed landing page. 

This has a twofold advantage: as a start, buyers feel a sense of urgency and privilege while our designers have more room to experiment with new products without having to worry about production costs. The series allowed me to touch on every part of the creative process: From brainstorming with some designers about the items they want to market, to the production of videos that reflect their brand's personality and the concluding online marketing strategy. Ultimately, each episode release saw a definite spike in website traffic and sales signaling a clear interest from the public.

 
 
 

Meet the Designer Episodes:

The series' first season consists of 5 episodes with a different designer each. These artists all come from different walks of life and have peculiar approaches to the business. 

Social Media Campaigns:

Each new episode was backed up by a promo campaign that highlighted the designer and their modus operandi. For example, all of Vanina's items are produced through the use of recycled material so for their episode the central point was sustainable fashion.

Exclusive Items Created for the Series:

As a way to capitalize on our viewers' attention, every designer created a limited edition product to coincide with the release of their episode. These designs were available for pre-order on the Lebelik website. As a result, designers could test out the public's reaction to these new items without having to worry about the cost of production.
